Your daily ritual, grown above the clouds. DAE Tea’s 1000M Oolong is a high mountain Taiwanese oolong tea harvested from leaves grown over 1,000 meters (3,280 feet) above sea level — where cool mountain air, persistent mist, and mineral-rich soil come together to create something truly special. Smooth, naturally sweet, and completely bitterness-free.

High mountain oolong tea is unlike anything grown at lower elevations. At 1,000 meters, temperatures drop significantly, and the tea plants grow slowly — far more slowly than lowland varieties. That unhurried growth is what makes all the difference. The leaves have more time to develop complex aromatic oils and natural sugars, concentrating flavor in a way that simply cannot be rushed. The result is a cup that is mellow, vibrant, and deeply satisfying — without a trace of the bitterness that puts many people off tea.

We chose this tea as our signature for a reason. It’s the one we come back to every single day. Whether you’re easing into a quiet morning, finding focus in the middle of a busy afternoon, or winding down before bed, a cup of 1000M Oolong has a way of making everything feel a little more still.

Brewing Guide

Hot Brew — everyday ritual

  1. Water temperature: 212°F / 100°C (fully boiling)
  2. Steep time: 2–3 minutes for a lighter cup, up to 5 minutes for more depth
  3. Re-steeps: Each tea bag can be steeped 2–3 times. The second steep is often the smoothest.

Cold Brew — bright and silky

  1. Place 2 tea bags in 600ml / 20 oz of room temperature filtered water
  2. Cover and refrigerate for 8–10 hours overnight
  3. The cold brew brings out an exceptionally clean sweetness — perfect over ice on warm days
