「由英國維多利亞女王因其優雅而命名,東方美人茶是台灣最傳奇且負盛名的烏龍茶之一。 它以天然的蜜香與絲滑、富有層次的甜感聞名——這並非來自人工添加,而是源於茶園中罕見的生態關係。 在夏季生長期,小綠葉蟬會輕輕叮咬幼嫩茶葉的邊緣,觸發植物產生酵素與芳香化合物,進而創造出茶葉標誌性的蜂蜜、核果與花香。 僅有最鮮嫩的『一心二葉』會被手工採摘,這需要極高的採摘技巧與小批次的生產。 採摘後,葉片經過輕發酵並以柔和的炭焙收尾,完美保留了新鮮度與深度。 其結果是泡出一杯明亮、優雅的烏龍茶,帶有甜感、暖意與細緻的餘韻——這是一份因工藝與自然煉金術而備受珍視的佳餚。」

I've read about Oriental Beauty oolong tea for years and finally tried DAE Tea's version. The naturally honeyed sweetness is real — it's not a flavoring, it genuinely comes from the leaf. The aroma alone is worth the price: honeycomb, white flowers, and ripe apricot. Brewed gongfu style it gave me 5 beautiful infusions each one slightly different. A truly premium Taiwanese loose leaf oolong.
I bought the 30g pouch to try and immediately ordered the 60g. The Bai Hao oolong from DAE Tea is exceptional — the natural honey notes are unmistakable and nothing like artificially flavored teas. The story about the tea jassid insect creating the flavor is fascinating and you can genuinely taste the difference it makes. Smooth, complex, naturally sweet. This is what premium loose leaf oolong tea should taste like.
As someone who grew up in Taiwan, finding authentic Dongfang Meiren tea in the US is nearly impossible. DAE Tea's Oriental Beauty is the real thing — the honey and stone fruit notes from the jassid process are unmistakable. The light charcoal finishing adds a beautiful warmth. I brew it at 90°C gongfu style and get 6 incredible infusions. So happy to have found this.
